The Site is operated by Mexi-can Ltd (trading as Hot Like a Mexican Store), 1 Willis Street, Wellington Central, Wellington, 6011, New Zealand. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Mexi-can Ltd. References to "you" and "your" mean the person using the Site or buying our products.
We sell Mexican food products including frozen meals, salsas, cooking sauces, and chips. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. We try to keep product descriptions, photos, and pricing accurate, but errors can happen. If we discover an error in a price, ingredient, allergen declaration, or product detail after you have ordered, we will contact you with the correction and you can cancel for a full refund.
Product availability depends on stock. Some items are made in small batches and may go out of stock without notice.
When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we send you an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel an order at our discretion, including (without limitation) where:

We accept payment through Shopify Payments and the methods displayed at checkout, including major debit and credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed by third-party providers under their own terms; we do not store your full card details on our servers.
Shipping rates, zones, dispatch days, and rural restrictions are explained in our Shipping Policy. Frozen items only ship to North Island and South Island urban addresses and only on Mon, Tue, or Wed via overnight courier. We are not responsible for courier delays once a parcel has left our premises.
Because all of our products are food, returns are not accepted. Damaged, spoilt, or incorrect orders may be eligible for a replacement or refund under the terms set out in our Return and Refund Policy.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity on your account. Notify us at sales@hotlikeamexican.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

We declare ingredients and known allergens on every product page and on the physical packaging. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, please read these carefully before ordering. We cannot be held responsible for adverse reactions where you have not checked the allergen information.
The Site links to third-party services (payment processors, couriers, social media). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of those third parties.
Personal information we collect is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.
